The company has developed a new technology platform for screening, development and understanding of plant metabolites for crop protection.
The Company is an initiative by few leaders in plant metabolites exploitation. The Company collaborates with Yeda, the Commercial Arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS) (www.weizmann.ac.il), the lab of Prof. Asaph Aharoni, head of Plant Metabolic engineering and a world leader in plant science.
THE MARKET NEED
Over $55 Billions are spent each year in crop protection
The conventional chemistry based compounds are facing drastic drop in innovation, increased regulatory pressure and prohibitive cost of development. As a result, new ag-chem compounds introduction dropped to merely 5 compounds/year in the last decade vs. 14 in the previous decade
Bio-based pesticides are recognized as one of the future solutions. They can have shorter TTM, lower development cost and healthier environmental profile. While the total market CAGR is 4%, the bio-based solutions are expected to have CAGR in the range of 15-20%.
Within bio-based solutions, those of plant metabolites origin are the most promising.

Founder and CTO
Formerly 6 years at Stockton as VP development &Technologies, CTO. Before that he served 8 years at Adama, in senior strategy and development positions and 4 years as the Professional Support Manager for Developing Countries at World Bank projects. Mr. Korman is also a flower and fruits grower and instructor.
Dr. David Panik
Founder and Chief Scientific Officer.
Holds a PhD from HUJ, Post-doc from WIS. 15 years of R&D experience in chemistry, plant metabolism, biotechnology, molecular biology and genetics in the industry (Evogene LTD) and academic work
Mr. Amir Noy
CEO
has over 20 years of international business experience in top managerial positions in various tech and medical devices companies. Most recently served as CEO of Alpha BioTech Ltd. a subsidiary of the Swiss company Nobel Biocare

Head of phytopathology
Holds PhD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Over 20 years of experience in the industry
